For everybody else I think it was BS he was even in such a facility because yea he some issues but he was a better man then a lot I know. Hard worker to. When he says he had a job waiting, he did. He did have a few issues he needed to get away from, and I know personally he was trying hard. Damnit I can’t believe this screwed up system ended his life. Casey had big dreams and with just a little help from the system he would have done great things. Instead they put him right back in the middle of what he wanted desperately to get away from. That’s a shame!
I grew up in the system I know how it works and what it can do. Hell they wanted Casey so bad they sent bounty hunters after him for a couple FTA’s. He didn’t have a chance because once you miss a couple dates because you don’t have the money to pay the fine because you have to live and eat. Your marked in the system and they won’t hear nothing you got to say. Lock him up with some shitty plea deal that was never in his best interest. But I know worse people with money that’s walking through the streets in st Clair co. right now!! SMH!!!
How bazaar that they convict and lock someone up for drug possession only to find themselves in a prison with an endless supply of drugs. This is failure before they even walk into prison.
My fiancee past away october 16,2021 in Randolph County Jail waiting to be transported to Jefferson County Jail. They claim that at the time they were serving breakfast he was alive bc he refused his tray but they left it for him anyways but a couple hours later when they came to gather trays back up he had passed away. Wasnt overdose according to toxicity screening. Manner of death only states accidental, he didnt have a cell mate so that crosses out someone else hurting him. We have zero answers to how ge passed away until we have his body exhumed for another autopsy in another county. Oh plus it took Randoloph County Jail 32 hours to call any family to let us know he had passed away.... these jails and prisons are covering shit up or not giving whole truths to situations and its beyond time for internal investigations to be done. Not no damn 60 days in bull shit either. I mean a real undercover investigation needs to be done. Its becoming too common these deaths while incarcerated and its something that need not be normalized
