Beth, these are lovely. I lived in Alabama for seven years of my childhood, and I inherited my mother's great love of trees. Thank you for sharing these. I made my way here via Jami Attenberg's 1,000 Words challenge — I'm glad I did!

Yes!!!!! We have lovely trees, lots of rivers and lakes and great food. There's history everywhere. It's a hard history, but it's ours.
