The reality of DOJ taking over our prisons is slim to none. Let’s say they do, then what? Where is this man power going to come from? Who will do the duties of all these understaffed positions? Who out there have the answers? Anyone? If DOJ wins, then what? Who wins and who loses?

I paid for an annual subscription to Beth's Moth to Flame thinking this was a venue to speak and hopefully help fix our Alabama prisons, not to read left-biased blather and lies. I can read those on Twitter, Facebook and - unfortunately today - our national news media, starting with the NYT, for which I incidentally have a subscription. Again, I apologize for my mistake. BTW, check out the First Step Act. I only responded to you because your response was civil, even if misguided. Incidentally, I also worked for almost 30 years with the U. S. Intelligence Community, including with people like General Clapper, who turned out to be just as much of an idiot as Milley, the fellow responsible for the debacle in Afghanistan. But again, this discussion does not belong in this thread, so I will bow out. Y'all have fun.

You say "Maybe I need to more deeply examine why many Americans and the majority of Alabamians support a man running for president who promises “a bloodbath” if he’s not elected. His defenders are defending the comments, shrieking, “He was talking about the auto industry!” OK. Sure he was.". Maybe you should more deeply examine why.. And, for the record, he was talking about the auto industry. You make it sound as if that was not true. I kindly suggest you stick to our prison situation.
